At ASU (second day)

Our first dual meet of the season as a combined program ended with a loss, but we swam well against a Pac-10 school who dove at this meet. Our men swam faster than last year's best time in three out of four relays. Good job, Gauchos! Keep up the good work!!

At ASU (first day)

We are in Tempe, Arizona swimming against Arizona State Sun Devils. The meet is devided into two sessions and swum in two days. The Gauchos are trying to make up the diving points from a Pac-10 school. We are fighting through and can't give up till the end!!!

TK Erwin on CBS's Amazing Race


Amazing Race on CBS
A former team captain from the 2005-2006 season, TK Erwin (2nd row 2nd from the right in the picture) and his girlfriend finally earned a spot to be competing in the Amazing Race on CBS. The show will begin on November 4.
Follow up and see if TK still has the Gaucho pride:-)

Mark Warkentin A Step Closer to the 2008 Olympics





A UCSB Assistant Coach, Mark Warkentin, just won the 10K at the world championship trials in Ft. Myers, Florida. He is now one step closer to make the 2008 USA Olympic Team.

Women vs. UCLA/Oregon State

The Gaucho women came together and put a game face on today against UCLA and Oregon State as a season opener at home. While training intensity has been going up, these women stepped up and raced well. Gaucho Pride, Gaucho Power, Gaucho Women!

Intrasquad/Parents Weekend

At this year's blue and gold meet, we had over 100 families and friends coming to cheer. We combined the men's and women's scores for the blue and gold team ... the winner was ... BLUE at this year's meet. Good job, Gauchos!!
